Abstract: Healthcare institutions use information-based image processing and computer vision to diagnose diseases, particularly glaucoma, a common eye condition linked to neurodegeneration due to high intraocular fluid pressure. Glaucoma lacks early symptoms and can result in blindness without treatment. Early detection is crucial, and while manual inspection relies on observer skills, computer vision, artificial intelligence, and image processing assist in automatic glaucoma diagnosis for disease detection and prevention.
